Well, offering holleywoodgrind as any sort of source is questionable. As for the other commentary, I would question whether or not you would be in agreement that someone busted on charges, real or phony, for drugs shouldn't have to pay the price. Remember the ads from the '80s? "If you're busted for drugs over there, you're in for the hassle of your life". And what's your position on the illegal immigrant issue in this country? Obviously the NK charges were outrageous and the sentences were obscene, but if the women were in NK illegally, how does that differ from the Maricopa County Sheriff locking up illegals he busts? =Bob

Now it does not matter much to me what sort of mission these two were on if they did in fact break the North Korean law. I just can't help but come around to the idea that we we once again played for a fool by North Korea. Kissenger has the right take.

>>And what's your position on the illegal immigrant issue in this country? The Norks' charges were valid, the sentences were ridiculous. Illegal immigration is just that... illegal. The point is that the Feinstein proposal would appear to cause these two to be subject to legal disabilities. See: trac.syr.edu/laws/18/18USC00922.html (d) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person - (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; (2) is a fugitive from justice; (3) is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802)); (4) has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution; (5) who, being an alien - (A) is illegally or unlawfully in the United States; or (B) except as provided in subsection (y)(2), has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (as that term is defined in section 101(a)(26) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(26)));
