He will probably find the answers he is looking for on his LinkedIn account. Yes the one that pops up for a High School Head Coach. That's where he belongs. No creativity. No sense that "oh crap the veer and shoot offense I copied from someone who copied it from someone 15 years ago doesn't work anymore because every defense knows every play from it so I should change what I'm doing". We all know how this ends... in tears except it will take a year or two for our idiots in charge to finally cut bait when they and everyone else already knows this isn't the right guy or coaching staff for this program. Such a shame. Going back over the years we've had losing seasons but in Craft and Chuck's defense we played a much stronger schedule than this year. Back then the MWC had TCU, BYU, Utah, etc and many others who were ranked and good. Never mind that the OOC was more challenging. In Chuck's last year when we won two games we played #2 Utah, #25 BYU, #7 TCU, and Notre Dame. In Craft's last year we went 5-7 against the likes of UCLA, Ohio St, TCU, Utah, BYU, etc. Not defending Chuck or Craft, but when you weigh the strength of schedule against some of our worst years ever I would submit this year is probably the worst year of Aztec football since Governalli. Heck in Chuck's first year he won three games but they were all FBS schools and by more than 3 points - he didn't get to play a Texas A&M Commerce who just moved to FCS. from D2. It's totally unconscionable for a HC to be paid $2mm/year and have this bad a performance their first year. Not to mention now all of the momentum is gone and so, too, are our best recruits because they've seen the crap show for what it is. If the rest of our recruits get better offers you can damn near bet they'll take them. |

Who ends with a better record this year Coach Lewis or Tony Sanchez from Nm state. Both have similar careers except tony is a better fundraiser guy?
