I was really looking at the schedule this year and noticed a couple things:
-only 2 games before the stretch against Gonzaga, Creighton, Oregon and tbd. Many teams are playing 2 games by this Thursday? Doesn’t seem like a lot of prep time??
-they only have 1 true road game until Jan 4 vs Boise?? And that road game is vs Fresno in an early conference opener? All of the other road games appear to be neutral sites.
Is it just me, or is this a very strange way to start the first 2 months. It might be really beneficial for a new group of kids playing together.
Am I missing something?

Well, the no road games until conference play is not uncommon at all for most programs, though it is uncommon for us, as Dutch doesn't usually duck true road games. glad he is this year.

I assume we looked for a home/home that started on road against a power conference team and it just didn’t workout. We will have 3 games before the nil tourney, tho 1 will be against a non d1 team. Just happens we have lot of games in december.
