SAN DIEGO – The Aztecs didn’t play their best, blowing a 12-point lead in the 4th quarter. But whether by the Cougs, bad calls, or themselves—Aztecs had their chances.
Though the defense did do their job overall in the game, they just couldn’t make the stops at the end of the game.
But it was enough to give the offense their opportunity to pull out a win.
The Aztecs just have not mastered the discipline or the skill just yet to yield a double-edged sword.
