think everyone would like to see the offense be as explosive as it can be
There are quality skill players - but it also really needs an OL - whomever is playing - to be able to provide holes for the RB's ( yes hope there are more then one ) and valuable protection for the QB
Aztecs need a solid OL for the skill guys to show what they can do
in addition will need an offense that can maintain drives because the defense will face a a Major test in WSU - who has a very good offense

How about stop running the smallest guy on the field into a weak O-line ?
You wanna run ? You gotta open up the field with the passing game. Load up one side of the field, get more blockers on the field via the single wing, double wing, wishbone, veer, whatever it takes to give you the advantage at the point of attack.
Running the ball when the other Team out numbers you in the box is the sign of a really bad Coach.

Running the ball when the other Team out numbers you in the box is the sign of a really bad Coach. Also stop using the same exact RB on every single play. Try putting two in the backfield at the same time occasionally so the D has someone else to key on. And maybe when that RB finally gets a good run, don't run the same RB into a brick wall the next three plays. If fans on Aztec Mesa have this figured out, anyone who watches film understands Lewis's tendency for daddy ball... ...as a matter of fact a simple play action pass after a 10 yard run by Cooper would be considered a trick play in this offense

It's time for Coach Lewis to entrust his QB with the ball.
When he does that, the offense actually looks good.
When he does not, it's basically watching a spread/fast version of the Horton era with even less imagination and discipline
