Most of those actions you suggest should have been done are under local or state control. Not Federal. Agreed. My friend said he knew a strong storm was coming, but the actual storm was surprisingly severe. I have an online friend who lives in... Asheville. No one expected the full devastation of what happened. Getting out of town took him 3 days. Getting help in is just as problematic. This isn't a time for the blame game. This isn't politics, this is life. It's a disaster, a tragedy. Everyone is doing everything they can to make things better. |

Helicopter pilots who responded to North Carolina are threatened with arrest by a fire department official who called it my operation and wanting police to take that action. Helicopters are the only way in with blocked roads. The current governor of North Carolina is democrat Roy Cooper. Contrast that with how Ron Desantis handled Hurricane Helene response in Florida. He spoke about it with talk show host Dana Loesch. I suggest the Viva Frei video on YouTube titled Outrageous! FEMA has squandered 650 million on illegals has no money left for hurricane season. One more is funding for FEMA responses must be used for disasters. Last, it is a major health issue that the dead bodies are not being removed as Frei stated in this video.

The politics surrounding this storm are unbelievable. One side, the White House states the Federal Emergency Response has been effectively handled while it’s lap dog media has echoed this assertion. The other side, talk radio and the Trump campaign have said the region has been devastated and many people are stranded, trapped and dying with their lives shattered. When asked by the media about the storm, Biden with a blank look on his face asked “what storm?” **To be fair, there was a helicopter in the background and he may not have heard the question properly.** My question is, in this politically motivated situation, how can we the American people trust any of these perspectives? Apollo Beach could get leveled with Milton. They have been told as high as 15’ with the storm surge and a lot of those homes had a foot plus of water in them from Helene. The neighborhoods have dry wall and furniture already in the streets from the damage that will just become projectile objects with a much high water level.
