I remember when the Chargers had Mike Scifres, what a weapon he was. He beat Peyton and the Colts here one game in the playoffs. I can see Araiza being like that.
And, he played for my favorite team yesterday which is whomever is playing the Chargers. I watched the game yesterday, which is rare. Nothing else on and wanted to see Araiza.

Absolute steal by the Chiefs. Other teams stood by and and allowed them to continue their “lucky” streak. Smartest front office in the NFL and it’s not close.

I think he could do it but the NFL is such a specialist league, no team has one guy that does both. He could do it in an emergency but I bet they're happy just having him be good as a punter.
He's no longer leading the NFL: he's 9th in punting average and 15th in Net average. He's tied for 28th in number of punts with just 26 so far. He's had 10 returned, 7 fair-caught, 5 touch backs and 4 downed by his own team.
