I loved the middle finger penalty. I’ll take that all day. A Selfish act that hurt the team. SDSU/COOPER isn't the Miami Hurricanes of the late 80's and early 90's that could talk the talk by winning multiple Championships and have players like Ray Lewis who would destroy ones confidence by his play and his smack. Senior Cooper and all of his 5'-6"/5'-7" self got baited and should have walked back to the huddle. Coach LEWIS needs to play Lucky SUTTON more. When Miami got 15 penalties in the Cotton Bowl it won, 46-3. |

too bad there were so many penalties and there have been a lot for all 3 games
sure makes it difficult to evaluate SDSU's progress as a team and some of the players

Not sure what you have been watching, but a 3 game win streak seems unrealistic based on the product on the field. Sure, it would be great to win 3 straight games, but I have not seen anything to believe we can win 3 straight games.
I hope I am wrong, but we are a complete mess. This is the most undisciplined team I have seen in I don't know how long.
The Coaches don't seem to have the answer and I am trying to stay positive. This Coaching staff needs to step up and get this right. I am getting too old to be angry, throwing shite and cursing for 3 hours.

Sure, it would be great to win 3 straight games, but I have not seen anything to believe we can win 3 straight games. I hope I am wrong, but we are a complete mess. One thing we're learning is that roster turnover impacts leadership among the players. Senior leadership is what brought Hoke and Rocky their success. Some of our upperclassmen need to step up, as well as the coaches, who can only yell so much. The players are more likely to listen to their teammates. |

I hear you… and it has been frustrating to say the least… The penalties have to stop, but I really think most of them are because these guys are trying to play at a tempo they haven’t played at before, in an offense that is brand new for most of them and against better competition in week 2 and then again week 3… There was real improvement against Cal with a first time starter at QB… the talent levels will be much lower over the next month… I think 3-0 is a reach, but plausible… |

I’d be happy with 1 win out of the 3 but going winless in the next 3 is my expectation at this point. I disagree. The play calling has been much, much better than the last few years. Especially on 3rd-down plays. Previous regimes, we'd run up the middle twice, then throw up a prayer on third and long. I eventually lost all hope in our offense doing anything. I don't have that feeling this year, but the inexperience, new roster, and new scheme takes time to gel. That's just reality. |

I've seen better coached & prepared high school football teams. This team stinks, they can't block, the right/strong side of the defense collapses like a folding table on running plays, repeateded/mindless penalties at the worst times & they look/act like little boys compared to teams like Oregon State & Cal. Washington State will drill them just like these two teams did. Rocky's teams were challenged in the passing game but you knew you were in a dog fight with a tough opponent. This team is soft.
