Came across a good thread that I can't find anymore thanks to the X algorithm, but I'll sum up some thoughts...
Why is it dangerous to be a one issue voter? Well, this election, in particular, you can't really choose what that issue is. Republicans are actively trying to undermine the right to vote in multiple swing states. So, do you care about voting rights?
The overturning of Roe v. Wade has made it extraordinarily difficult for women and young girls to receive access to abortion, putting countless lives at risk. Do you care about women's rights?
The much-ballyhooed immigration issues: Mass deportations and crashing the US economy is on the table. Do you care about economic value and affordability? Housing costs? Infrastructure?
This election is just far too important to be a one-issue voter. You have to take a comprehensive look at *all* the issues and determine what fits best, not just for yourself, but the good of the country as we go forward.

Yeah, the people who support Trump's insane idea of mass deportations of people who have been living, working, and paying taxes here have no idea how deporting those people in mass numbers would destroy the economy. It would create economic chaos. Trump keeps talking about Kamala destroying the American economy and turning us into, "Venezuela on steoroids," but that's exactly what would happen if his mass deportations went through!

He might deport a handful of gang bangers for show if he can find them. It's a bigly bluff to throw red meat for the Cult. It is not feasible/ doable = "mass deport". This is Mexico is paying for it all over again.

I'm going to do this, and I'm going to do that, then crickets. People need to sift through the B.S. and not let these outlandish claims influence their vote.

To be clear, any attempt at mass deportation would result in legal challenges and chaos, which still causes instability.

Trump is not with project 2025. He denounced it. That is the work of the Heritage Foundation. Trump's plan is Agenda 47 on his campaign page. When voters consider the failed economy under biden and harris, border security, reducing crime, courts not being used for political lawfare and more, Trump will win in November. The left can own abortion and walz signing legislation about putting tampons in boy's bathrooms.

Failed economy? Lol. Kook.
