I am actually more hopeful. I see glimpses of what we are trying to do. If we did not shoot ourselves in teh foot so much this would be a game. Never expected us to be really good right away. Staying positive.

Oh look, another penalty. That is COACHING folks. Sorry Coach Lewis, this is NOT Kent State. You can't have two lousy years and then have one great year and move on. If UNLV's coach can turn things around in year one, there is absolutely no reason we can't also. If we can't, we have the wrong head coach.

If O'Neil is our best guy, yes. We have had opportunities in the pass game and blown them, or threw our receivers into a hit. A freshman is being a freshman. Maybe go with a not-freshman and see what happens. |

So it's has become obvious that the coach is going to stay with his chosen QB even if he is injured and having a terrible game. Not a good scenario for the rest of the year.
