I am not sure if this has been posted and threaded, but the 2025 PAC/MWC football scheduling agreement, will not happen. This from the SJ Mercury News, below.
The Sunday deadline for the Pac-12 and Mountain West to extend the football scheduling partnership has passed without a deal, and an agreement for the 2025 season "isn’t happening at all," according to a source, as the sides are "too far apart" in negotiations. Washington State and Oregon State are now "exploring other options" to complete their 2025 schedules.
The source cautioned that the lack of a deal with the Mountain West "did not indicate" a partnership with any other league was "imminent."
The breakdown in talks also does not "rule out the possibility of a longer-term merger, in some form, between the Pac-12 and the Mountain West" (San Jose MERCURY NEWS, 9/1).

It sets the table for the PAC 2 to poach the top 6 MW schools next summer. The problem is for most P4/5 schools their 2025 football schedules are set, so finding high profile games or any games in Oct/Nov could be an issue with OSU and WSU. I believe that their realistic options and priorities are 1) invite from the Big XII, 2) invite from the ACC & 3) rebuild the PAC w/MWC & AAC schools. I really don't see B1G or SEC adding these two schools in an time-frame. Florida State (0-2) & Clemson (0-1) are not doing themselves or any other schools any favors right now. Careful on what you demand, karma is a bitch. However, this doesn't mean that the MWC won't throw the PAC2 a life-line at $2,333,333 million per home game, far above a typical buy game at $750K. Lastly, its important to note that the PAC2 is facing the NCAA's two-year grace period by July 1, 2026 extended to them to get to at least eight full-time members, unless Big XII or ACC take them on first.

Amazingly there are still teams with an open slot for an OOC, scheduling October / November is the hard part but not impossible. You can also go after teams that played at Hawaii for the 13 game waiver like State, Stanford, Hawaii, etc.

SDSU, Boise and Fresno St all have 12 games scheduled for 2025 but all three play at Hawaii so don't we get to add a 13th game? We already have Wazzu so we just at OSU.

Better chance for the ACC should they want to support Calford out west but we'd be the first choice for that.

It sets the table for the PAC 2 to poach the top 6 MW schools next summer. That is my read. Come back and say that the MWC was taking advantage of them to use that when negotiating down the "poaching/exit fees." Per Wilner they havr set aside $65M for that plus have other assets. I'm thinking it can get done for about $40M, $7M per school, a bit more for Boise and, should they add Hawaii a bit less.

Better chance for the ACC should they want to support Calford out west but we'd be the first choice for that. My odds for OSU and WSU would be: 85% chance Pac 12 rebuild with top 6 MW schools 10% chance of ACC invite 5% chance of Big 12 invite

In the past the coaches were reluctant to add the 13th game at least partly because then we'd have to win 7 games to be bowl eligible.
