Maybe an opportunity for a fund raiser for say the softball, baseball teams (Track/Cross country/Hockey......) to deliver orders for a DONATION to their programs. They could also be out pumping up their programs with cool uni's and SDSU clothing on and or maybe selling raffle tickets and or other prizes like games day packages for other sports (games tics, hats, shirts food...?).
You would have to admit it would be kinda cool to have an SDSU athlete bring down your order and and maybe have a little chitchat with them and then have a photo op for you and your kids.
I know this maybe cutting into the servers at the stadium but these are orders made by people who were going to pick them up themselves.
- Kinda like when the Police/Fire Department/City Council ...... take over a restaurant or bar as waiters/servers for charity fundraiser.
---SDSU and Snapdragon could outfit these athletes and feed them while also having them as Ambassadors walking though out the stadium.
----I hate to bring this up (NOT a fan) but maybe somehow work it into the NIL? ? ?
Just ideas for these other programs to get a little more visibility and fans, while making a few bucks in the process for their teams.

We'll test it out - I DL'd the app, but probably not at the first game… I suspect the system is already in place for other events, so it should be seamless. But I'm OK with waiting for others to beta test it at the first Aztec Football game. |

This was used in Portland, Or. at the Timbers match's and it was pretty easy to use. One of the nice things is that you don't have to stand in line missing the action on the field. The first time I used it was about 4 or 5 years ago.

So...What's the verdict? ...Anyone? Since we're on the Aztec west side, once we learned that the participating concessions are on the east side, we probably won't go for in-game unless they deliver. Yeah, lazy. Before the end of the season we'll try ordering on our way in and pick up - hopefully without the wait - as we head to our seats. I think it'll take a season's worth of experiences before we can give it a thumbs up or down. TBH, I still miss the old pregame events - still the best times ever. You were a great host, and I suspect you don't miss handling all those meal tickets…  Thanks for all those memories! Now what to do with all of my wooden Aztec Club drink tokens … Got 'em in a box somewhere around here! |
