usually senior are voted as captains. for two guys who arrived in portal to get named captain is very unusual. and sophmore T white named captain over upper classman is also interesting.

It was a player vote 2. None of this has any bearing on the w-l’s KOC was a captain as a redshirt freshman, back-up QB. The vote from players is based on who they feel are their leaders amongst their peers. Not how long they've been here, their class status nor even position on the depth chart. With the way things worked out for KOC, his peers were spot on back then. |

if there is a need for an SDSU player to discuss a ruling on the field take it the Coaches will designate who the " team rep " will be the QB on offense and X ? on defense or Special teams ?
Believe this year the coaches designate a player with a Green Dot on the Helmet for "radio " communication to the bench
