No matter how the BMW plays out... Xander is locked in at no worse than 2nd place... heading to Eastlake.

Xander shoots 67 today and is presently tied for 4th @ -7. There are still a number of guys ahead and behind him with holes to play. As of now he's 3 shots back.

Looks like Xander found something in his swing during the back none. With Hideki Maruyama out and Scottie Scheffler with a back issue, I predict either Xander or Wynham Clark will win tomorrow. Clark more so since this is his home course. I think all the leaders above them will fold under pressure. |

Looks like Xander left it all on the course......yesterday. Hopefully he won't be psyched out with the changes they made at West Lake. He's always done well there.

Xander never gets it together but still grinds out a -1 today for a 4-way tie for 5th. He had to settle for a measly $728,750.
And he'll go to Eastlake and start out just 2 strokes behind Scheffler, who hasn't been lighting it up the last few weeks either.

If Xander plays well at East Lake, he has an excellent chance to win the Fed Ex Cup and $25,000,000.
Two majors plus the Fed Ex Cup? That sounds like the player of the year to me. Scottie has the Masters, and more wins this year, but any player would rather have two majors plus the Fed Ex Cup.
I hope to see a great battle between Xander and Scottie.
