Magoon came in SDSU at 180 lbs and he's now up to 208. That's still not much for a 7' frame but there's a new picture on Instagram with his shirt off and the kid's got some serious abs. That's a lot of muscle to add.
No ceiling sir!

He's doing it the right way gaining lean muscle. He's got plenty of time to add 15-20 more lbs to his frame at his young age.

Yet another Aztec muscular transition on Coach Marsh's Instagram page: Jared Coleman-Jones www.instagram.com/coach_marsh85/J-C-J going from a pudgy 255 lbs to a completely ripped 234 lbs in 2 months. Looks like the Aztecs will be running this year. Can't wait.

There's also a picture on Coach Marsh's page of the whole team standing in the workout room with these massive, heavy chains around their necks. Not sure if they use them in their workouts are they're just symbolic. But they all have their shirts off and each and every one of them is ripped.
Like, "holy-cow-look-at-those-abs" ripped.
Not the "so-muscle-bound-they-look-like-they-can't-tie-their-shoes" ripped.

would guess that Magoon and Compton should be able to handle the 4 position
Nice to hear that JCJ is getting into even better shape at the 5 - any reports on Heide or the true Freshman center ?

Magoon still has a ways to go but itโs a good start. He would probably be best at 225-230.

Agree, but pudgy was the best I could come up with when you looked at the After picture. I could work out 25 hours a day for 6 months and I wouldn't look as good as the pudgy one.

If you are dedicated it is pretty easy to transform your body in a relatively short amount of time at that age.

You guys need to know the older you get the more important everything else is, it's way more then just putting in the time at the gym (which is important) but for what most people are looking for (looks) it's becomes way more important to address the other stuff as serious if not more. I am talking about what and how you eat and how you are structuring everything when it comes to recovery from working out and your day to day life. Working out is 60-90 minutes a day (strength, resistance work) 4-5 days a week ( high end), which equals 7-8 hours a week or about which is about 6-7% of waking hours a week. The diet and recovery is impacting you 24/7, that is the amount rest you are getting and the food you are putting into your body to prepare you for your next workout. There are different ways people look at working out and recovery, some say replenish and recover from a workout and others say prepare and build for next workout. Either way this is something that is done within the lifestyle you lead. Basically anybody can look great, dependent on body type characteristics (somatotypes)* it's just the time and effort are you willing to put forth. A serious effort and commitment of 6 months is plenty of time if you are REALLY SERIOUS, just remember you are not over weight of out-of-shape you are just not in-shape YET! * Somatotypes- (Heath-Carter scale/calculator) SDSU Professor Dr. Carter (stud in field, great instructor and cool dude!)
