UNADJUSTED DATA The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 486,284 in the week ending Dec. 11. FOLKS, NO MATTER HOW YOU SLICE AND DICE IT IN THE WEEKLY REPORT, THAT IS STILL WAY TOO HIGH. HALF A MILLION PEOPLE A WEEK FILE NEW UI CLAIMS!!!!!! That is not half a million a month, that is half a million a week or two million a month. When you consider that the Department of labor says the workforce is less than half of our population, TWO MILLION NEW APPLICATIONS a month in that case is WAY too much! www.dol.gov/opa/media/press/eta/ui/current.htm

It amazes me that people are not aware of the lies of the Department of Labor as regards unemployment. They have been doing this for Thirty years now, ever since Reagan was President.
The number of NEW Unemployment Insurance Claims is seldom accurately reported. They make up numbers to mislead the public and to boost the stock market.
The actual numbers of new claims are reported by the states weekly. The Department of Labor faithfully records them as UNADJUSTED DATA. The unadjusted data numbers are the actual real numbers of new claims that were processed in the states.
The DOL then takes that number and makes it politicially correct for whatever administration is in power. They do it for Dems and well as Repubs.
NEVER believe their ADJUSTED numbers. Only look at the UNADJUSTED numbers to get the real picture from week to week. Two million people a month are losing their jobs. If they stay unemployed too long they are dropped from the Work Force. We have close to ten million people who are actively looking for work who are listed as Not In the Work Force by the Department of Labor. The degree of dishonesty is unbelievable.
