sure seems that there are multiple Transfers In to SDSU that will be on the 2 deep starters for the Aztecs

sure seems that there are multiple Transfers In to SDSU that will be on the 2 deep starters for the Aztecs and last years team was 4-8 (2-6 in conf.) while also heading in the WRONG direction. New staff, new team hopefully better results! Go Aztecs! |

To the point they would Keystone Cops their way into accidentally creating cutback lanes with their lousy tackling and equally awful angles. |

More than a few times players (LB's and DB's) were so out of position or just slow to react with poor tackling that they were is position to get in the way and make a few stops, was not a good look last year. Say what you want but last years LB's, they were slow to react, got pushed around and were terrible at tackling the only bright spot was Zyrus Fiaseu (gone) and he was dinged up almost every game along with Cody Moon (who I hope is able to keep up his weight , he'll need it this year) The new defensive system will be interesting with AztecFast Offense. |

Seems like our edge guys can have a good year, or maybe it is more a rough look for the offensive lime we will see

If the time of possession is relatively the same wouldn't scoring and gaming yards energize you as a defender more than another series of three and out? |

So with the DL having 4 guys - thus leaving only 2 LB's how are they positioned this season
Think one of the starting LB's is supposed to be transfer Owen Chambliss 6'3" 232 lbs. although he had an injury last week
Key for the defense is the play of the front 4 DL - if they are having problems making tackles for a loss or having guys break tackles for long gains it is going to be very trouble some for the whole fefense

Cooper McDonald got some mention in last nights game against Stanford. They mentioned he was from SDSU and how coaches think very highly of him and that he can be an all Big 12 type player. He finished with 4 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss.

Haskell is in now for Portland state due to injury and he just threw a TD. Portland st is playing Washington st right now and getting killed 49-17 at the half. |
