With Tedford retiring (again, wish him the best, look after your health!) I would not select FSU as most likely. Agree that BSU is likely overrated once again. They were dreadful last year before the turn aound under the interim turned head coach. I think it is more likely they fall back to the mean. They do have a great RB though! UNLV is still sus to me. Just can't get behind their success just yet. Maybe if they prove me wrong and have another strong year. I think you have some rose colored glasses regarding SDSU. Love the coaching hire. Think Lewis is the real deal and if he stays on the Mesa the Aztecs will have great success under him -just not this year so much. I would love to be surprised though. I'm guessing the final order looks something like this: 1). Colorado St. 2). Airforce 3). Fresno 4). Boise 5). UNLV 6). SDSU 7). New Mexico 8). SJSU 9). USU 10). Hawaii 11). Nevada 12). Wyoming 1). SPOT ON! And I love the fact we are picked so low- always backfires. I see the Aztecs sneaking a couple extra wins because of the new schemes. I won't be surprised if we come in first or 4th. |

I have to wonder about the impact of Ken Niumatalolo at San Jose St and Bronco Mendenhall at New Mexico will have. This is also Timmy Chang’s 3rd season, if he is any kind of a decent coach this will be a break through season for Hawaii.
Add to this new coaches at SDSU, Fresno St., Wyoming and Utah St, there is a lot of uncertainty in the MWC. Plus Oregon St and Washington St in the mix.
It should be exciting.
