I don’t think anyone is looking at 0 points and 4 fouls in 13 min and using +/- to justify that as anything other than bad. Zero pts isn't that bad when you only take 2 shots. What looks worse, 8 pts in 27 minutes on 3-14 FGs including 0-8 from 3 or LeDees night? The first guy was Bronny Boy. Heard he was aggressive on the floor diving for lose balls, firing up team mates. Summer League is about looking out for #1, unfortunately, LeDee has to touch the ball to score. He got very few touches. Shooters also need to pass the ball. |

Nate had a good game tonight: he had a double-double in only 14 minutes: 10 rebounds and 12 points along with 2 steals. He did however manage to get 4 fouls in those 14 minutes so there's that too.

Keshad & the Heat beat the Celtics 119-114, his line 27 minutes, 10 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, & 0 PFs.
Zylan & the Nets, LeDee & the Wolfs, and lastly Nathan and the Spurs all play today NBATV & ESPN+ Channels.

Keshad & the Heat beat the Celtics 119-114, his line 27 minutes, 10 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, & 0 PFs. Zylan & the Nets, LeDee & the Wolfs, and lastly Nathan and the Spurs all play today NBATV & ESPN+ Channels. Keshad also dribbled in hard from half-court and dunked over at least one guy, maybe two. His whole bench stood up and cheered. It was an NBA dunk. |

Two MWC guys playing well in Miami, both look to have possible roster spots, or at least KJ should be on the floor in October 2024.

Keshad has been Arop-like with doing so many little things but a better scorer. I'd be surprised if he doesn't stay with the big club.

Feeling frustrated, LeDee must be having a tough time. Despite playing hard, he can't seem to get a touch on the ball or receive passes from his own teammates. The NBA Summer League guards are playing hero ball, rarely passing and neglecting pick-and-rolls, post-ups, or any organized plays. Instead, it's all about jumpers and threes, with shooters just chucking them up. Hoping he gets additional Q4 minutes, but appears he is done. Ugh 8 minutes, 0-0 FGA, 0-0 FTA, 0-0 3FGA, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2PFs. 55 fouls called already 2 minutes remain. Ref's aren't great either. Ugh.

Another good game from Nate. He had 4 fouls again but this time it took 24 minutes to get them. He almost had another double-double: 10 pts 9 reb (incl 4 off) 2 assists, a steal and a block. And he didn't mis a shot, 4-4 FGs and 2-2 FTs.
The Spurs waived last year's back-up C, Charles Bassey 5 days ago. He tore an ACL last year and they also needed to clear a spot for Harrison Barnes. I think Nate has a shot at taking his place. We'll see.
Bassey fractured his left patella the season before and suffered a left tibial plate fracture the year before that in college. His left leg is trashed.
I'd love to see Nate backing up Wembanyama and getting to do picknroll with one of the greatest picknroll guards of all time next year, Chris Paul.
