In a recent Cali Live Tournament game Carr had 19 points and five rebounds against Sierra Canyon. The PG transferred from The Branson School to Riordan where he was the MCAL Player of the Year in 2024.
“He’s such a pure point guard,” Riordan coach Joey Curtin said. “He can create for himself and others. And he’s a great defender and rebounder.”
Said Freitas co-director of the Cali Live 24 event: “I heard one power 5 coach casually say (last week while watching), ‘he’s gonna have 20 offers after this game is over.’ “

Carr down to five schools, SDSU not in his top selects:
Creighton Colorado New Mexico CAL USF
Assume both CAL & USF (San Francisco) have been on him as the two hometown teams. And I am surprised at the interest in CAL (Mark Madsen) and UNM (Pitino Jr.) as finalists. But we're seeing both schools raised profiles among HS recruits and NCAA transfers.

New Mexico has moved up the NIL$ ladder pretty well considering their size and lack of success recently. Their football program is non-existent so I think all the athletic donations go to BB.
