If we're gone then who cares? I would feel sorry for any new MWC BB teams that have to deal with that horrible travel itinerary if they're at sea level.

What's weird is that Hairball's resume looks fantastic! He was also well regarded amongst his peers and was on the NCAA tournament committee. With that said, he was terrible for the conference. I just don't get it.

I just don't get it. Bottom line just look at the MWC now as compared to say 5-10+ years ago. Do you see anything that really says possible growth? positive future? ANYTHING! This guy was in charge of the conference for over 20 years and what does the MWC really have to show for his work?

With his background and resume, he should've been able to turn us into a P6 conference. It really sucks.

No way we were going to be a P6 conference with schools like Wyoming, New Mexico, etc and the way UNLV has historically played.

Yup, there's not much you can do when over half the conference can't/won't invest in their athletics. I'd argue the fact he was able to keep this conference together over the years and installed ways to keep it together moving forward are his best legacy. Along with the egregious Boise additional payment.

The Presidents wanted a yes man and that is what he did - someone that could get a long with many but little backbone
The new one is far superior and maybe the new PAC tries to hire her

Don’t care who they add. It would paradise never to have to watch any of those schools play SDSU again.

I desperately want to not give a f*ck about the MW conference. I agree, but would picking up other G5 schools really help us in any substantial way? The original pac would've been ideal (obviously) at the very minimum.

Why would we care about the old Mountain Goat Conference ? It would be a rehash of the 00's WAC.

Its not his fault the three most valuable properties left. Boise was supposed to provide Football cache, but they failed. He did the best he could with the hand he was dealt by the Conference Presidents and AD's.
