Thanks for organizing all of that for us Gundo.
Would have liked to see McKinney, Boyd and Davis play with at least one teammate. Any extra court time with someone can only help timing with them or just being more familiar with their game or tendencies.
Hope Demarshay learns something from Skylar besides how to shoot FTs.
After some NBA court time this year Nate should be able to dominate.
Talked with Billy White at a Swish league game in the past and he couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. I love the casual atmosphere there.
Anxious to see what Matt B looks like after playing in Europe.
Especially anxious to see Taj, Pharoah and J-C-J.

I'm surprised Boyd isn't here. But really surprised BJ Davis isn't.

Went to Swish league today and saw the first half of Taj Degourville's game. What a stud. As the announcer said a couple times:"that's a grown-ass man for someone 18 and a half." He sure looked bigger than 6'5" and was perfectly proportioned too. My only complaint is that he over-passed too much. That stands out in these games as there's a whole lot of running and gunning. His shot looked smooth but blockable from 3 as he starts it out low. Going back on defense he was telling guys where to go and who to pick up. I'm really stoked after seeing him.
Another cool thing unrelated to basketball: before the game a tiny white-haired lady went up to him to welcome him to SDSU. She's a long-time season ticket holder. He bent way over and hugged her.
Three other Aztecs were listed on the rosters but none showed. I wanted to see Pharaoh and Majak but some guy said Pharaoh and Magoon are playing in LA in the Drew League and you can only play in one summer league.
The big game was next but we couldn't stay: Mensah, White, Wade, Bradley, Byrd, Spencer, Demarshay, Coleman-Jones and Boogie Ellis were all on the two rosters for the last game though I doubt they all showed up. I know Billy White, Mensah and Byrd were there when I left.

Hearing that Magoon & Pharoah will be playing in the LA Drew League vs, the SD Swish League. The NCAA allows players to ONLY play in ONE pro/am therefore they will be in LA this summer and not at Swish. The Drew League has been around for 51 years for summer hoops, with NBA, G-League, International, Street Ball, College and Preps playing over 2 months of ball. I'm hoping BJ Davis is playing somewhere although I'd hoped it would have been with some other Aztecs to help work on some teammate-timing a bit.

If I was a jaded, sarcastic ass, I'd say it's full-on free-for-all anarchy. Good thing I'm not that way.

King Drew Magnet High School 1601 E. 120th St. Los Angeles, CA 90059 I was hoping to get to the Drew for Pharaoh's debut this Saturday but couldn't make it. He's reposted some highlights including an and-1 dunk and some layups on IG. You have to take highlights with a grain of salt especially from up and down pro-am style play, but he looked nearly same size as some of the grown men he was playing against. If him and Magoon are playing at the Drew that's definitely a good thing, they'll get good reps against a lot of college/euro guys and NBA players most likely. Competition usually heats up as the Summer goes on. I think the Swish League is great for the SD community, but I can respect if a player would rather focus on their own work. By now they should be getting plenty of reps in the JAM center and guys have been posting in there more and more frequently over the last week.

Kwahi & Malachi played Drew League, as did Pope & Hemsely. Nothing new for Aztec players to play in L.A. summer leagues.
