I recently spent a weekend downtown. I'm not returning anytime soon. Place has become a literal $#!+ show. I spent 30 mins in the Gaslamp the last time (~18 months ago) I was there with my wife. Got nearly run off the road into the side of parked cars twice, physically threatened over a parking space, and generally distubed by everything I saw. Then got back in the car and drove off; and am never going back there again. I'll stick to Hillcrest, Normal Heights, and OB from now on when I'm visiting. Been a Syht show for years down in the Gaslamp but then again I am comparing it to my days hanging out in PB (yeah, I know I'm old) Remember--- Stay of my Lawn!
