I knew a lot of guys that I played D1 football with like Roemer. You are encouraged, pressured and demanded of to be as aggressive as you can be. Let's pump you full of muscles and get your rage on as a player. Some guys can't turn it off very well.
Throw in who knows how many concussions and even more mini-concussions that don't quite "qualify" as real ones and erratic behavior should not be surprising. I'd leave practice almost every day with a horrible headache from running into very big and very strong guys until I realized it wasn't worth it.
The football guys are going to need that NIL$ a lot more in their futures than any other sport's participants.

These things are real (see above), throw in all the all the extra high school practices that some of these D1 college players took on getting to the college level and you have the makings for some serious issues later in life. That NIL money will be spent within a few years, just look at most "older" professional athletes who have "people in-place" to help them with their financial issues as where NIL is just throwing money around like drunk sailors right now to 18 - 20 year old's with Handlers and Trainer (looking for handouts) helping them. |

More importantly shows how much of a problem about Drugs that can really harm a lot of people Addiction be it drugs, alcohol, tabaco, food, sex, porn, etc. can devastate the lives of the afflicted and their loved ones. Some are more dangerous than others. Synthetic drugs seem to be at the apex of destruction. It is my sincerest desire that anyone that is in the grips of addiction, can find the inner strength and community help to climb out of the abyss. |
