That's right!!! I am about Values, including, Morals, ethics, and character. He displays just about zero of that when it comes to how he can treat people. If you want, I can post the many articles, and videos of his escapades. They're numerous. Hey, here's another one of many. Did you see the one of Pham screaming at the fans telling him it's always the white man that starts stuff? Lol. What a guy. What down home, previous, lovely individual. Lol. He's a Hot Head who can't control his emotions with ANYBODY. If you cross him, be careful because he's always ready to "Get Down" He trains for it. Unbelievable. No, you're a charlatan. A fraud. A hypocritical, self-serving, fake individual who practices tolerance for people that you give a pass to and denigrate the hell out of people who you don't. It's hypocrisy, it's sad and it comes from a place of ignorance and hate. You make up fake stories like the Padres "hard passed" on Pham (when you have no clue, of course) and it's pathetic. You have an axe to grind. Period. As fake as it gets, since you don't hold everyone to the same standard. Clueless. The replies indicate nothing but ignorance.

The difference is there's countless incidents of Tommy Pham talking about how he want to "Get down", and that he's always training to "Eff somebody up", and that he's "Ready for it." He's violent. Have you seen the video of him walking up to Joc Pederson and slapping him Will Smith style before a game was to start? I thought you're against violence? Lol. This guy is the epitome of violence. Ridiculous. You can have him. And what does that have to do with anything? Who gives a $#!+? Literally. Your assertion is that makes him a bad teammate? That he's not respected? He's "violent?" LOL. Good grief, get a grip. Yes, I've seen all the videos. Means nothing to me. Imagine obsessing over things you have no idea about. "It's means nothing to me." Perfect response coming from you. Wow.

I don't ever give passes to people, unless they repent, who continually display violent, disruptive and horrible behavior and especially to a bully like Tommy Pham. Didn't you say you used to get bullied? There's zero axe to grind. I just do happen to not like bullies, violent people, and people with poor behavior. You do, unfortunately, so have at it.

Because out of context quotes have nothing to do with him on the field as a teammate or in a clubhouse. Seems obvious. I can separate those two things. You can't, for some reason...the reason being you don't like the person. Pretty apparent. Manny Machado THREW A BAT at a pitcher once on the field. Does that make him violent? Evil? A bad teammate? A clubhouse cancer? It's selective outrage and it's dumb. Period. I don't like some of Tommy Pham's off the field actions or his political views, either...but that doesn't force me to degrade someone's reputation. Hell, if you knew some of the stories from last season here, you'd be amazed.

I can understand how if he he's on your team, he could potentially be an ok teammate, but then you have the Kim incident that sparked his hot head tendencies. People can say, om"Oh, it was nothing" so to speak, but it's the contrary. Machado, while I didn't like some of his advertised dirty plays in his career, etc, he hasn't said the types of things that Pham has, nor slapped a guy in the face, or challenged fans, and opposing players to "Get down" in Tommy form. I don't care if you back him. That's your prerogative. I'm not degrading Pham's reputation. He's done a fine job at that, all by himself, Nationally, for all to see. Everybody has seen it, and talked about it. It's not very often you have a player go up to an opposing player and slap him in the face before a game, nor will that type of behavior go over well with fans.

That's another no brainer. It's all over the Internet for all to see. I get it that they're not all choir boys. I played with many that were not, but there's a point where it gets excessive, and that's where Pham's at on his career, unfortunately.

Random person with axe to grind: "BIG DEAL OMG." Probably because it was... nothing. You glossed over the part where players on a team requested him by name to be signed. You gloss over multiple teams, literally every team he has played on, having nothing but positive things to say about him. So, yeah, selective, fake, Internet courage. And PSA: The average fan is not bright.

No need to diss someone for their religious beliefs in a non-religion thread, either. Just food for thought. (Constructive criticism.)

Do everyone a favor and lock this thread.

And PSA: The average fan is not bright. Yeah, like you haven't glossed over around 5-10 crappy incidents by Pham. Hilarious. Also, I don't care that some teammates may like him. Overall, he's a big attitude problem. Oh ok, so he's mainly a dick to fans and opposing players, does that make it ok? Sheesh. AGAIN, of course players aren't going to come right out and say that he can be a douche. Come on now. That's obvious. Teams/Players will look the other way if they need a player that they think will help the team, and HOPE that he doesn't scream at fans, call out white people, slap a guy, get mad at his own teammate on the field and stare him down, and that's just for starters. I'm over this stupid debate, especially when there's just ONE guy defending him who clearly has bias to defend him. You've stated before that you like him, his upbringing and what he went through on life. Where you fail is that you don't understand, or don't want to, that doesn't give you a license to be a di**head

I acknowledge whatever you want to call an "incident.." - Like you blaming him for being assaulted outside a club. I just don't have an idealistic perception of the reality of what players do off the field. What speaks volumes to me is the grudge you hold and the references to the quotes you bring up. I care about what the owners say, the GM's, the managers and the players. You can say you're over it, but the last two months have seen you go back and forth with one other person....about a guy who is no longer here. Says more about yourself than it does Pham. Movin' on.

Ha!!! Says more about me than Pham. Ok. You're way out there bro. I'm not the one assaulting people, etc, and someone with a temper problem. I never blamed him for the assault at the club. I said that bad things happen at that time of night, and don't put yourself in that position. Again, you're taking what GM's, etc, say as golden. They're going to say whatever they need to say if they need some help on their team. Deflecting. That's 101 stuff. Also, I'm not talking about what he does off the field, I've only talked pretty much about incidents on the field, whether it be with fans, or players. Oh, I'm not over it when he does something stupid, which will eventually happen again one day. His temperament says so. You just don't like it. I was referring to the fact that I should be over debating this obvious issue, regarding a known Hot Head throughout the League, and throughout the Sports World.
