Yeah, nobody wants him long term, or for medium term. Seems pretty obvious. He's 36 years old. There is no "long-term." Just say what you want to say, you don't like the guy. Unfortunately, the players do and teams do. That's why he keeps getting picked up by playoff contenders over and over. Edgy, stupid $#!+. Just say you love the guy. You're enamored with his upbringing, so you give him a pass to be a douche to people. Check yourself. Sheesh. Stupid stuff from you. Always making excuses for him. Sheesh, again. He's been on several teams throughout his career for a reason. Yeah, not a big fan. He's a real douchy kind of guy. He even yells at his own teammates. I'll give him credit for one thing, he apparently knows how to "get down." He trains for it. Lol.

Another way to look at it is that he overstays his welcome on every team he lands on… fans by and large know exactly what kind of clubhouse cancer he brings with him - don't know how many players, but we can surmise quite a few…
Don't forget, he's ready to "get down" whenever he wants to … except at the plate.
For guys like this, where there's smoke, there's gonna be a fire.

He's a hot head, but if you kiss his a**, he'll like you. Just don't cross him. He's been training. Lol.

I can't believe this has to be explained, but if you're picked up by playoff contenders yearly, there's a reason for it. He's respected around the league. He also has been fine at the plate the last two years, there's just not a huge market for a corner guy with limited defense. Brandon Belt couldn't even get signed off one of the best offensive seasons of his career. Solano, Peralta, etc.

He has some power and a few teams will bite the bullet and hopefully endure a potential tizzy that he'll most likely get into with either the fans, players, or coaches, or all three. Lol. Big. Time. Pass.

Teams aren't "desperate" when they are listed to 28 roster spots.

Exact, classless, response I expected. Carry on. Sorry, but it was that bad. You don't deserve a pass for not being able to use your brain here. You don't get to be upset when you spread false information.

Yes, to imply that one of the reasons he gets picked up is because his attitude is just fine, is biased and absolutely ridiculous. It's actually in spite of his attitude. Like you said, desperate times equals desperate measures.

The guy gave up his spot in the lineup last year in the World Series. www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/38776351/tommy-pham-asked-sit-jace-peterson-appear-wsInstead of spreading outright lies, maybe get off the soapbox and stop posting lazy, disproven takes. The Padres inquired on him twice...so, they obviously don't share your opinion.

They would only take him out of desperation and hard passed, no matter how much money he was trying to get. Like I said, if you kiss his a**, he'll do something for you. I remember you spilling excuses for him when he was being douche (I can't remember which incident it was, there's been so many) saying that he had a really tough upbringing. News flash, that doesn't give you a pass to be an a****le. You can have him.

I'm talking about at the deadline and the waiver wire. This isn't high school, your heroic baseball players aren't choir boys. Your opinion on his personality is worth nothing.
