If he was coming, he would have announced by now. The fact that he continues his recruitment tour indicates SDSU money bags aren't big enough.

Believe it was reported that this is a dead time for recruiting visits
So he could be deciding if he wants to visit other schools after the dead period think that might be after June 2
Reports also that USC and Clemson have already added players that play forward
So not sure what might be happening

It's official, yet one more reason to hate BYU!

It's official, yet one more reason to hate BYU! This...is...Jeopardy. Who said: "...any man having one drop of the seed of [Cain] … in him cannot hold the priesthood and if no other Prophet ever spake it before I will say it now in the name of Jesus Christ I know it is true and others know it." "Canaan shall be his servant and a veil of darkness shall cover him that he shall be known among all men." "There was a blackness come upon all the children of Canaan". "...the seed of Cain were black, and had not place among them." "What is the mark? You will see it on the countenance of every African you ever did see....", "...the Lord put a mark upon [Cain], which is the flat nose and black skin." "They have not wisdom to act like white men."

I don't care about losing Mawot. Good luck to him. I wish him all the best. But I've never understood why a black person would play for a university founded on principles like that. The Mormon church believed those things until 1978, when God apparently changed His mind.

Sorry. I don't care about losing Mawot. Good luck to him. I wish him the best. But I've never understood why a black person would play for a university founded on principles like that. Cause for enough money lots of people are willing to overlook the fact that their religion hates them.

I don't think black athletes buy into the 98% white student body and alumni as having deep honest affection and respect for them any more than the athletes have similar respect and affection for their fan base. Those relationships are mostly transactional.

I also think the allure of playing in the Big 12, arguably the best basketball conference, is helping BYU.

Maaybe in general that's true but Mag played in the B1G10 so I don't think he signed with them for the BIG12 BB schedule nor the chance to maybe go on a mission when he's done. I'm assuming this was strictly a cash grab.

Those relationships are mostly transactional. Black BYU athletes literally have Brigham Young's name plastered across their chest. Do they realize what Brigham Young (and his church) stand for and believe?

Maybe we should be talking about the recent aztec football signings?
