Went to the coaches caravan in RB at Oggi’s yesterday. Dutcher, Lewis and JD were there. It was very well attended and they were all well spoken. Bottom line is all are remaining positive regarding the expected House settlement and NIL situation. Of course what else can they do. Glad we have these men leading our sports programs. After attending I feel better about our ability to navigate the future.

The only ones that may not be affected by all of this are the military academies - their players have already "signed on the line".

can a player play for a year or two at a Military School then decide to enter the Transfer Portal thought SDSU added a football player and noticed that a player from AFA basketball transferred to a different school

After that you can not. |

The only ones that may not be affected by all of this are the military academies - their players have already "signed on the line". Academy attendees have the right to transfer before their junior season and not have to fulfill their Military obligation. |

Random observations from the OC event...
Most questions were about NIL. One answer from Dutch that intrigued me was that NIL will ultimately be brought in house. (Students become employees?) What form or shape it takes is yet to be determined. In the interim, he/the team is in need of the average fan to donate. Even as little as $20 a month.
JD the AD stated...he expects that the extra $1.8 MM that BSu currently gets from revenue sharing to be adjusted within the next year (8 Months).
Lewis: The 2 new kids are in the lead to be the next QB. Football team had a GPA at/above 3.0 for the first time in SDSU history this past semester.
On a gossipy note: During past events, there was a visible comradery between coaches, I didn't see that this year. Not saying it's good or bad.
