11 am first pitch v Boise in Boise. I'm away from my laptop, but pretty sure it's on themw.com Or on the Mountain West app. (Will link when I get home from kid piano.) I think the deal is SDSU needs to win just one of the two. Boise would have to sweep. Go Aztecs! Is this a must win to make the NCAA tournament or are our Aztecs an at large team? Bubble? |

We are 38 in RPI. So definitely a bubble team when the SEC is going to get either 12 or 13 teams in. Probably need to get the automatic bid. Bubble teams have to worry about bid stealers. Coach Nuveman-Deniz actually started her #4 starter. BSU started their ace who we ran in the first inning on Thursday. Also she pitched in both of BSU’s wins yesterday.

OK... Aztecs break through in the bottom of 3. 2-0.
Mac with an absolute shot to the gap to drive in the first run on aggressive baserunning. 2nd run brought in on a well-placed soft line drive down the left field line.

If you've ever had the feeling of the "Disrespected Aztec"... That one was for you.
After making a pig's-ear out of a play in the top of the 5th that allowed Boise to tie the game at 2, the Broncos chose to walk Mac Barbara to get to Garcia, who subsequently hit a bomb over the left-center wall. That was senior-driven clutch right there!!
