This feels like a preemptive move because Gonzaga and possibly Saint Mary’s will be joining other conferences.

GCU is a good get for the WCC.

they will definitely be a challenge for the Zags both on the court and for the Power broker for the WCC
OSU and WSU are set to join in 2024 but after that who knows
also do the Zags and St Mary's stay or move to a different conference ?

I guess they will have a 20 game schedule. It is still a tight regional conference.
3 PNW 4 NorCal 4 Socal/AZ

I think this is a good move for the WCC. Wouldn't it be interesting to see if they could compete with the Big East?

Catholics and Evangelicals living together? What's next? The Catholics and Mormons managed to get along for a decade

totally in agreement
The Big East is a P6 conference and top to bottom a much better conference

If you had told me three years ago that Washington State and the University of Seattle would be in the same league, I would have been utterly incredulous or saying no f****** way!
NCAA Athletics the wild West scenario: a realm where "pay to play" reigns supreme, rules are scant, and lawlessness prevails. A place where the boundaries of fair play and amateurism blur into obscurity, leaving a vacuum filled with controversies, scandals, and ethical dilemmas.
Someone, or somebody should lay down some rules, it's so out of hand.
