this will be the initial reaction for many fans, once they realize that College Sports is as much of a business now as the NBA is, it will either turn them off completely, or they will come to embrace the reality.
For me, this was allowed to happen because certain forces would like to particular markets dominate college sports for whatever reason. it just shows how old fashioned and desperate things have gotten for the networks. there will be a price to pay for all of this. whatever purity there was in the game is gone. If folks want to treat these players like Pro, free agents, let them. it comes with the territory.
