Because many here thrive on trashing players when they leave because they devalue them while they're here. Happened last year with Keshad and now Parrish is the whipping boy. We are going to miss Parrish big time. Boyd's a great replacement for Trammell & a nice bridge to Davis. Waters, Byrd & Taj replace Parrish. Nobody is bashing Parrish this year or Johnson last year. You really need to stop making crap up. They are calling out his BS repost on Twitter by a Ohio St fan post. “If you don't think The Ohio St program isn't an upgrade over where he was your just biased“ In terms of being a B1G Academic powerhouse and a well funded AD, he stepped up. Several levels. In terms of recent trajectory, he's stepping into a rebuild. Not a stable, winning Program.

The current facts of the men's basketball programs at SDSU and OSU in the last ten years are undeniable SDSU's climb has been steady and like few others in college basketball. Where as OSU's men's basketball program has been going in the opposite direction during that time period. Getting a former SDSU player too transfer is an up grade for OSU. WE all hope that our former player does well unless he is playing SDSU.

Yes, posters are belittling Parrish in this and other threads. And yes, people were TRASHING Keshad last year saying we wouldn't miss him, he was very limited and we will upgrade his position. If you spaced on that or can't see people belittling what Parrish did for this team that's on you.

Or he didn’t step up this year. that is belittling? Trashing Keshad? All you homers where still on his jock strap. I didn’t miss him because SDSU had LeDee taken his spot. But couldn’t get a center transfer. But you lie to everyone last year saying LeDee was supposed to be the center all along. Which everyone and their mom knew it was complete lie.

Parish is stale history and completely irrelavant. I have neither ill, nor good thoughts about him. Can't waste the energy. NEW stuff is that upon which we need our focus.

I saw Parrish, Byrd, and Trammell at the spring scrimmage. They each walked down the aisle with their expensive pizza slices and took a seat down close to the field. I hope Parrish was buying. I didn't know about his announcement at the time and yelled out "One more year!". I don't think he heard me, which is probably best.

Will be at the next level as well. But keep making up stuff. It's you being you.

I am pretty psyched for Nick Boyd. We're filling a MAJOR need if he can be around a 40% 3-point shooter like he was in his first year. This dude can score at all three levels and has big game experience.
I do wonder how our staff feels about BJ Davis. Getting another backcourt player will undoubtedly eat into Davis’ minutes. We got such a small sample size from Davis last year that it’s hard to gauge if he has potential.

He's not quite ready to be a 25+ minute guard yet. Boyd bridges the gap, allowing Davis to develop and slide into Lamonts spot in a year. If Lamont gets hurt, I don't think they wanted Davis to get the lead guard role dumped on him. Boyd gives us a second lead guard. We have 120 minutes to divide between Butler, Boyd, Waters, Byrd & Davis, with Taj potentially playing his way into a few at some point. Good mux of experience and youth. IMO Davis will play 15-ish minutes per in '25 & start in '26. He's a freak athlete and Dutch said the game has started to slow down for him in workouts this spring.

Where you lied about Washington not guarantee to come here two year ago if Mensah left. Right. Or LeDee was going to be the starting center. Even though he wanted to be a PF Which by the way, he won the Karl Malone PF award. LOL! SDSU desperately was trying to get a starting center in the portal but couldn’t because of NIL last year. Again I gave you the link and you disappeared. I can give it to you again. But you don’t like facts. Aztecswinagain what is the percentage now? Seriously stop making sh*t up.

Yes, I have high hopes for Davis once he takes the reigns. There was a lot I liked when I did see him play. I don't put a whole lot of stock into his missed shots, or turnovers in the last two minutes of blow outs. You have to consider who he's playing with out on the floor, and every single one of them want to make their time count, and are probably pretty tight. He can be explosive.

I was about to ask why people were hating on Ram. Is it too much to ask us stay on topic? 3rd graders have a longer attention span than the average AztecMesa poster.
