So what’s the over/under on how many times per game announcers mention Butler’s shot over Boyd in the Final Four.? Did you know Mitchell lost 20 lbs,? … and have you seen Kawhi’s hands? Do you think they’re big enough for him to play the 5? Do you know that Fisher walked around campus with skinny Matt Mitchell giving tickets to the Final Four where students saw Butler hit his shot over Boyd?

I think this is the first time most the fans already have a poster or T-shirt of an incoming Aztec player 😂

Hey, he successfully cut off the baseline drive, which was Butler's intention. Butler pulled up for a great shot though, so good on both of them. I hope they get to play together. (hint Lamont)

Why are we bagging on Parrish? Seriously? Because many here thrive on trashing players when they leave because they devalue them while they're here. Happened last year with Keshad and now Parrish is the whipping boy. We are going to miss Parrish big time. Boyd's a great replacement for Trammell & a nice bridge to Davis. Waters, Byrd & Taj replace Parrish.

This is huge! Not only talented, but lots of tourney experience - Go Aztecs!

I'm not sure I see him as a replacement for Parrish, more as a replacement for Trammel with better size. I agree but I just mean Parrish was swapped for a better overall player. We need Boyd a lot more than we need Parrish. Parrish had a disappointing season from an offensive standpoint, that is for sure. So did Waters and Butler and I want both back. We do need a true rebounding PF but another shooter would be nice. Perhaps we expect a freshman or two to play some decent minutes next year. We just have one more scholarship available unless Johnson transfers.

So what’s the over/under on how many times per game announcers mention Butler’s shot over Boyd in the Final Four.? Did you know Mitchell lost 20 lbs,? Its got potential to beat out the Steve Fisher handing out tickets bit. I see no way it doesn’t get mentioned at least once per broadcast. That puts the over/under around 36.

Awesome. Replaced Parrish with a better player and for less money. Its the same level of player we are replacing. Now the question is will Dutcher run plays for him. We already have Waters, Byrd, and to a certain extent Sauders playing the 3 spot. We need a PG that can create off the dribble and a shooting guard that can make his 3s. We also need a rebounder. Boyd is not a 3, he is a 1 that can play some off the ball…

Not to mention he seems to have forgotten the last time Ohio State made it to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament was 2013. So, as of right now, moving to Ohio State is not an upgrade other than the pay scale.

That is why SDSU fans are calling him out. Yet they are not bashing him they are bashing Ohio St fans that say this nonsense.

And Parrish reposted it on his Twitter account. Sucking up to his new fan base. The money is better but even Parrish knows Ohio St is a downgrade from a success standpoint. They haven’t made a Sweet 16 in 11 years.

What do you think…..
9 man rotation
1 - Boyd, Davis 2 - Butler (some Byrd) 3 - Waters, Byrd 4 - Saunders, Gwath 5 - Sissoko, Heide
25-26
1 - Boyd, Davis 2 - Byrd (some Davis) 3 - Degourville, (transfer) 4 - Saunders, Gwath 5 - Heide, Compton, (Majek)

He shoots better than Parrish at all 3 levels and plays defense at the same level. He also fits a big need of a bigger PG which was desperately needed after being undersized their last season. My first thought was, "We just got five inches taller at point guard." I'm hoping Nick blends in quickly with the scheme and rotation.

(hint Lamont) Nick played very good D on that play. Not only cutting off Lamont at the baseline, he also got a hand in Lamont's face. Butler was just quicker and jumped higher when when he stopped on a dime and elevated.
