PF Transfer Rashaun Agee committed to USC, riding away from Bowling Green on the Muss Bus. We probably lost another one to NIL. 🙄 How much is USC paying him?

Muss is putting a team together that should dominate the Big West next year. Musclespaz is easy to root against. I was at that game. Saw all that go down. Talked a few dads, it was all initiated by the little general. What a little pinch weasel. The worst.

Another interesting note..."There’s still a chance the Aztecs may add another transfer beyond that, most likely a shooter. But that would require someone else among the 13 scholarship players entering the portal or becoming a walk-on. The NIL age allows for that, since a player could technically pay his own tuition and be reimbursed by a collective."

I thought we were really interested in Agee? Maybe he seemed to only care about possible NIL? Cant thing of why else we would pass on him?

Agee was signed by U$C today, I don't think we "passed" I think they "paid more" and its the B1G. Agee is from Chicago, IL. (Bogan Technical High School) but played all over the country> New Mexico State>Casper Community College>Bowling Green>now U$C.

Wow just think if there was a player that was on a team that after 3 years is Still NOT showing the ability to play at the level of a major D1 program. This team still needing an upgrade at the 5 still with a player that is not providing any kind of help or support at the 5. The team being held back last year by lack of production at the 5 and looking like the same thing next year because there needs to be an upgrade at the 5 again next year. This team Could again have a player riding the pine (while on scholarship) at the 5 just taking up space and or being a serious liability if ever put on the court with one of the worst EVER Free-Throw motions seen in college basketball. While also looking like a deer in the head lights while running around lost on the court anytime he is put in. What is going on with this player still being on this team? This is not bashing a player this is just stating facts, not everyone can play and be productive at the D1 level. The three year test was more then enough for someone to prove themselves, time to move on and find someone that can be of service next year.

I was wrong per SDUT, "The Aztecs hosted Bowling Green forward Rashaun Agee on a visit two weekends ago but passed on him, and on Monday the 6-foot-8, 225-pounder who ranked 19th nationally in rebounding committed to USC and new coach Eric Musselman."

Agee is the only guy i wanted in the portal. sad to hear we passed or were overbid on him. If Mady is the guy, he will be a part time player just like he was at MSU.

Mady started 33 of 34 games in 2022-23. Started 26 0f 35 in 2023-24. Don't think he will be a part time player. Last night, Aztecs were pretty excited to get him in for a visit.

6'8" 225 lbs is the guy y'all wanted as a transfer to anchor the team at the 5 ?!?
If we needed a PF/4, Agee would have been terrific. But that's not the position that I think most would point to as our bigger need (hint: an experienced C/5)

Not sure why people wanted Agee so much. Great player and rebounder but undersized. We need a rim protector and rebounder, not a Ledee replacement. If we can get 25 solid mins out of Sissoko, 15+ for Heide that sounds good to me. Not sure where Magoon fits… him being on the thin side and possible perimeter ability sounds more like a PF.

I think Agee is a real good player but a poor fit for what we need. We already have at least 2 if not 3 PF options, 2 of which would be quite undersized for the 5 (compton/elijah). We can use a cleaner fit at the 5.
