I think everyone knew this was coming. This opens up the first scholarship. A big man is the priority.

Hope Cade find a place to work on a graduate degree and get some minutes. He did what the coaches needed him to do here and now it’s his time.

Hope he finds an institution where he can continue his education and get a few minutes on the floor. DI, DII, or NAIA. Cade played in 33 games and scored 27 pts over the 4 years he was on the SDSU Scout team. Great teammate, student, and friend to the Mesa.

He got to be on a team that went to the national championship game last year and got to the Sweet 16 this year. He earned himself a scholarship with his hard work. I too hope he finds a school where he can take some of our culture and be an asset to a new program and get more minutes on the court.

Good for him. I hope it works out well. The kind of practice work we don't see has been one of the keys to our success.

He's a solid player, I hope he finds a good spot to shine. Hopefully he earned his SDSU degree and will be a grad transfer.

The time commitment to play D1 sports is ridiculous. It's even a crazier situation when you never (or very rarely) play.

This past season Alger played a total of 22 minutes. Last year he played 18 minutes.

I was disappointed Alger didn't play in his final home game as a senior. The first time that has happened that I know of. Usually the seniors start; although I recognize that was difficult this year due to the position he plays.
