I don't know. Whats the make up of the team ? If they are 80-90 % freshmen sometimes you take your lumps for a year or two....if its a veteran team THEN you have major issues !

You'd never know it by how bad this pitching staff has been thus far. Why hasn't he hired a pitching coach? Does Cole think he can handle both jobs? What a disaster. |

Took a quick glance at the season stats. We have two hitters over .300 - Turner at .377 with 28 RBI and Bates at .302. Team ERA is 6.92; 208 walks in 259 innings also 69 hit batters.
Turner and Bates are freshmen; the pitching staff is also relatively young, 8 freshmen, 5 sophomores and 6 upper class men.
Aztecs are last in the MWC standings at 4-10; San Jose is in 5th place with a 6-8 conference record.
