Malachi's outburst last night got me thinking about the All Time Dutcher team here at SDSU, which led me to think about Fisher's All Time team here. I know Fisher has the advantage of more seasons, but Dutcher building on top of that has reached higher heights.
So here is the thought. List your AT team for Fisher ('00-'17) & AT team for Dutcher ('18-current). Five starters & first four off the bench. Then who you got in a seven game series (yes, I know they don't play 7-game series in the NCAA, but should allow for a deeper discussion of who you think is better). And yes, you can have a guy on both teams, those of you who are big on Malik Pope.

Fisher:
Starters: Thames, Heath, Franklin, Kawhi, Spencer
Bench: McDaniels, Slaughter, Tapley, Watson
Dutcher:
Starter: Flynn, Bradley, Mitchell, LeDee, Mensah
Bench: McDaniels, Trammell, Arop, Schnakel
I would take Dutch's team over Fisher's.

Thames, Franklin, Leonard, White, and Spencer
subs: Heath, Tapley, Slaughter and Thomas
Dutcher's team:
Flynn, Bradley, McDaniels, Ledee, and Mensah
subs: Butler, Mitchell, Arop and Wetzel
Honestly having a hard time picking a team. I'll say Fisher's team cause a few of those players had the closest game against UConn.

Thames, Franklin, Leonard, Davis, and Spencer
subs: Heath, Shepard, O'brien and M.Thomas
Fond memories of Tapley, Billy White, DJ, Faux, but I figure this line up would be the best. The major weakness here is FT shooting. Great rebounding and defensive team, combined with all time scorers: Heath, Franklin, and Thames. i think they pull it out, unless Flynn can put up 50.
Dutcher's team:
Flynn, Mitchell, Wetzel, Ledee, and Mensah
subs: Butler, Schakel, McDaniels, K Johnson
Dutcher's teams were solid offensively and i think this line up here would have the best shot at putting up points against the Fisher team. Bradley/Mitchell/Arop also considered.
The All Time Might have Been's :
Rickey Clemmons, Evan Burns, CBM, Habel, Kevin Young
subs: Troy Leaf, S Eze, Brodricks Jones, Koren Johnson

Dutch's team just because of the quality of the recruits we have gotten has improved quite a bit under Dutch based on the foundation he and Fisher established. Dutch has 3, soon to be 4, playing in the NBA routinely. Add another for Schakel who is almost there. LeDee will play and be solid next year.

Interesting thread. Let's keep in mind the talent in the MWC for the All-Time Teams. This starting FIVE put San Diego State on the Map
and would BEAT any of Dutcher's Teams! Also, this starting FIVE had the HIGHEST BB AP POLL Ranking in San Diego State's HISTORY!
Fisher's FIVE: DJ Gay, Billy White, Malcolm Thomas, Kawhi Leonard and Chase Tapley
BENCH Tim Shelton, Skylar Spencer, Jamaal Franklin, Xavier Thames and James Rahon.
Dutcher Arop, Flynn, LeDee, Butler, Thames, and Polee. I cannot think of any other players that would have been able to compete!!
Again, the MWC talent declined after 2013. The League is weak! This is one of the reasons that the MWC Teams fails miserably in the
NCAA Tournament year after year!!
If Fisher's 2011 Sweet Sixteen would have played in the last two NCAA Tournaments, San Diego State would have been BACK to BACK NCAA Champions!!
