Just another reminder that I would have never been accepted to the University. So proud of how far it has grown in academic and athletic prestige.

The annual list ranks 500 colleges across the U.S. based on metrics such as student success, return on investment, and alumni influence. I wonder how they measure student success. If it's by grades or earnings or a combination of metrics ??

If it's all about money, that might help explain the over representation of 'wealthy' public institutions on the top 25 list. We have to know by now that zip code has more to do with student success than just about any other measure. Students who get into the top 10 tend to come from different Zip Codes than those in the bottom 10…

I believe it is earnings 10 years after graduation. Forbes looks at the ratio of cost to reward.

Education is not the issue with CA, so that is not what I would consider a "dumpster fire" that you referenced. However, I can think of a plethora of issues with this state, but that is another thread.

Higher Education is not one of the weaknesses in this State!

There's a term in real-estate Location, Location, Location. Smart people this counts. Going to a great University in a great location just proves your smart.
