Great win....how can these refs make such bad call in the last minutes of a March Madness tourney. Big UAB guy got all Ball...gets his 5th. Ledee gets called for barely touching a UAB player. Clutch free throws for us tho!

The way the game was called at the end was BS
We also made a lot of , what I think , were ill advised passes and we had way too many TOs
I think the first game is almost the hardest . Most everyone wants to see the upset and nerves play a roleZ

Refs totally turned this game around by calling the second half differently than the first. Too many obvious weak make up + fouls called on SDSU. JMO

So, look, 25th win of the season. And, I'll take that every day of the week! But, holy smokes, does this team win ugly! Defense and rebounding is what it is all about with this team. They should have won this game by 12-15 points IMO. Parrish absolutely did not want to shoot the ball! He must have had 10 open looks, and he passed them all up. It's kind of weird how he turns it on and off.

JMO How in the world can they shoot more FT's than SDSU when we are going to LeDee inside on practically every possession? The second half was bringing back bad MWC regular season officiating memories, not a well officiated 2nd half at all unless you are a UAB fan. In which case you can suck it. |

Clutch win at the end!!! Great job!!!! Congratulations!! Now on to Sunday. Go Yale!!!! On a side note, an Air Force fan on the MWC message board had the following comment after the game:
"MWC really needs to go to unequal division of NCAA credits after the first round. The conference hates on SDSU but has no problem cashing the NCAA tourney checks the Aztecs bring in."
I agree with him. It is nice to see someone from another MWC school notice the dislike for us, and that we deserve more of the Tournament $$$ because we are the ones bringing it in.

Have to say that we better stop making those lazy passes if we want to keep playing. Flat-footed on both ends with a pass like you're trying to get the ball to your 100 year-old grandpa who is blind.
We really should have won this game in double digits. We won't get away with that next game.
