Col State 5-27 in 1st half (18.5%) including 1-10 from 3 along with 11 TOs. It's getting embarrassing. The color guy brought up a good and unfortunately accurate point about the MWC. He said MWC teams aren't used to playing teams that are so big, athletic and quick so scoring can be much more difficult than in conference.
Rams scored 3 points in the last 15:57!!!! That makes us look like the Showtime Lakers.

Some of these teams cannot handle the stress of a big game. The lights are too bright for them.

The only good school is SDSU, but we get treated like a bastard son of Henry the 8th by the MWC.
We have to play with sh-tty refs and deal with elevation every year.
Next year is 20 games.

It's going to be interesting to see how we do this year in the tourney. Our team isn't as complete as last year, but we have more experience since a bunch of our guys were on our squad for the natty run, minus some obviously important pieces. Hopefully we won't be as nervous as these other teams

Seems pretty clear what the problem is in the MWC. They don't see bonafide bigs on their teams very often, and the ones they do manage to entice are usually those from the leftover market - so there's never really a conference schedule that's filled with 7 foot monsters. When these teams get to the NCAAT, some of them don't know how to defend for a whole game against a real live "big".
At least SDSU was able to schedule decent OOC competition and saw some big players, but now even that's going away as they'll have two fewer opportunities to play possible MM teams and see how other conferences play. MWC admin hasn't got a clue about this at all, and their current "Hair" is even more clueless than the one who came before her.
