This Yale team is no joke. Auburn found out the hard way. The Aztecs need to be ready and disciplined on Sunday. Polulakidas can flat out shoot. Stay aggressive. 40 minutes of tough defense. Make the free throws. Parrish, Saunders and Waters MUST hit their shots.

Did not expect New Mexico to get blown out. They Played so poorly. Right now 14% from three, 29% from the field. Clemson's got some players, they shoot well, and have a potential NBA player. NM has been playing over their heads, it was due to happen.

Watching MM Games this weekend and thinking 3 guys we strongly recruited: KJ Simpson (Colorado), Coleman Hawkins (Illini), and now Josiah Allick (Nebraska transfer from UNM) would have made a world of difference to have one of those three guys on this current team.
Even Keshad Johnson (Arizona) would have added some scoring and energy.
We should beat Yale with strong defense, but am not sure that anyone will stop Uconn.

Let's review the Mountain West so far:
Nevada blows a 17 pt lead in historic fashion with less than 8 minutes left in the game.
Boise State blows a late lead and scores 53 points against a team who gave up 100 points today. 0-10 now in the tourney.
New Mexico was so tired from all the yapping they did in the conference tournament that they got boat raced by 20.
Colorado State at least wins the First Four game, even though Virginia was so abysmal offensively that people want answers as to why they were even in the tournament. But they follow that up with a complete dud vs Texas where they score 11 points in the first half and shoot 29% for the game.
SDSU - Gloriously overcomes a sloppy first half handling the ball and horridly officiated second half to advance. Time for SDSU to get more pay for what they do from the MWC, Boise State should probably give us all their extra football revenue.
Utah State - I predict they lose tonight so we are the sole MWC Team still standing and it is only the Round of 64, egads.

Outside of SDSU, the Mountain West is 1-19 in the last 5 years...the 1 win is Colorado State's play-in game over Virginia which may be the worst at-large selection ever.

MWC schools are never going to vote for unequal revenue sharing of tournament credits. They can't let daddy SDSU have all of the money.

In fact, got their ass kicked a couple times. They also had a couple nail biter wins against non tourney teams. We did beat the number one overall seed last year. Of course we need to focus on a good Yale team but anything can happen in this tournament. No foregone conclusions.

I'm impressed with USU, they are Balling Out. Very quick ball movement, not four guys standing outside the three point line, a lot of layups.

USU came to play. That Brown is a big time player. They’re unafraid unlike our fellow MW teams.

USU up by 13 with 8 minutes left. Fair to say that if they don't implode, they should win this game. The Purple Toads are unable to mount any kind of offense. Big Johnson is having some game tonight - at both ends of the court. Brown is back to nailing threes.

Nevada was up this much, with this much time remaining and lost, so I'm still not sure Utah St. can pull it out!
