If FSU and Clemson win their suit then maybe we could us that result as precedent to leave the MW and move to the ... Oh wait, there's nowhere for us to go. sigh

Hopefully only those 2 leave the ACC so there would be hope of a "significant" 4th conference combination. If many others leave also, then there is no hope of rebuilding the ACC. WE want the ACC so there is still a path to be in a P$ conference. This would be ACC leftovers with a west division including SDSU.

Clemson wasn't desirable to media partners 10 - 15 years ago, all it will take is a couple of down years, and they'll again be not that interesting to media partners. FSU and UNC are the two most desirable schools, but didn't UNC somehow recently get handcuffed to NC St? If yes, they're not going any where. The same may happen with UVA and VaTech, meaning UVA wouldn't be going any where.
I see FSU and Georgia Tech being the two schools that the B10 could and would take. GT is a fantastic academic institution and is in Atlanta, directly in the heart of SEC country.
If the ACC does lose schools to the B10 and SEC, then almost for sure, the Big 12 takes Duke and Louisville and SDSU is again left out in the cold...

the BIG and SEC are strictly wanting to add schools that the TV networks think will add add a good % of Viewers - Maybe Florida State might add to that situation but not Georgia Tech - Clemson- would guess the marketing Pros know that . Does Boston College bring in some from the NE area .
What might be of some interest for SDSU and others in the West is the fees schools are charged to exit a conference
