If he does go there, I wish him well and thanks for everything he's done to help this program. Everyone, including me, will want Dutch to hire an offensive-minded coach. I think a lot of us are tired of the pretty stagnant, stand-around, little-weave-at-the-head-of-the-key system we mostly run now. And with LeDee gone next year, any significant inside-out play will be less likely too. But after all these years of following the Fisher/Dutcher era, I wonder whether we'll ever have an offense with lots of movement given the amount of constant exertion Dutcher demands on defense. Unless he can duplicate Nolan Richardson's "40-minutes of Hell" that gave them multiple Final Fours, 2 National Championship Finals an 1 National Championship, it probably won't happen. I'll be happy if we could just get a couple real shooters. I'm not giving up on BJ Davis yet. His 50%-40%-90% high school numbers have to have some merit. Concur. It's exhausting watching this team with this offense make runs to the Sweet 16 and National Championship Game. We could bring out the Paul Westhead 2.0 offense and lose a lot of games by 100 - 92 scores.

Concur. It's exhausting watching this team with this offense make runs to the Sweet 16 and National Championship Game. I happily accept your level of understandable sarcasm and yes I love and appreciate any and all runs into and through MM, BUT, you can't tell me you wouldn't enjoy the games more if we were able to extend leads rather than lose them by having a few sharpshooters out on the perimeter now and them. Yeah, I’m mostly spoofing. However, I don’t think our problems on offense have to do with Dutch’s offense or schemes. Dudes just need to start making shots. Every one of our shooters is having a subpar year statistically. Trammell, Parrish, Butler and Waters are all shooting 5-10% off their career percentages from behind the arc. Heck, if just a couple of those guys were making one or two more threes a game, this team would have five fewer losses. Seriously. It’s maddening. And it’s not like they’re being guarded on the arc. They’re wide freaking open. So we actually have the guys. They just haven’t been delivering.

The Aztecs are a 31% Three Point shooting team - this year after 35 games - and for a good portion of those game the opponents are happy to give them the open three -
So maybe the coaches can plan accordingly - guys moving without the ball and make more passes - the three point shot is going to be there if you get close to the end of the shot clock
As for who coaches where next season - would expect that the coaches who have done well to get into or close to MM and their team performing well - will be moving from their current position to an even better one for them .
Numerous positions open and look for a lot of movement accordingly as HC's and assistants make their moves
