That's a no bueno and a good time for UAB. Our opening round game was 11 am last year and that worked out ok.

Uab has to travel across the country, no excuses!

By Friday, we will have practiced that early in the day to get our body clocks a little more synched up. UAB is traveling over 2,300 miles from home with 2 time zone changes. We'll be fine.
Although, to be fair, we're about 1,300 miles from Spokane so it's not like it's in our back yard but having just gone to Gonzaga this season and already played about 6 blocks from this arena(and won), the familiarity of things can only help.

might have been interesting if it was one of the evening games to totally throw off their body clock
Believe that TNT will be the TV Network - not sure of the announcers ? and of course the refs

That's a no bueno and a good time for UAB. In the name of " Fairness " maybe we should protest and just not show up!

Bigger question: Is it kosher to start drinking Aztecritas at 7:45 a.m., PDT? Or should I wait until 8:45? Or even 9:45?

We have already played a few early games on Saturday this year.
Also, the start time is at the same time zone and near sea level so we should be fine.

Love our seed and opponent but what a ridiculously difficult region. These teams got screwed. #1 Seed UConn won the Big East Tournament #2 Seed Iowa State won the Big 12 Tournament #3 Seed Illinois won the Big 10 Tournament #4 Seed Auburn won the SEC Tournament

There are three unavoidable things in life death, taxes, and slow offensive starts with the Aztecs.

Bigger question: Is it kosher to start drinking Aztecritas at 7:45 a.m., PDT? Or should I wait until 8:45? Or even 9:45? Consider your ancestry and the time zone they are currently located in, and you may able to claim it is in your blood to start drinking at that moment. For instance, it will be 5:45 PM in Sweden where my ancestors hail - I'm safe, though I'm working (from home) so my boss may not care for the idea.

As long as Verne Harris and Eric Curry aren't within 1,000 miles of Spokane, we should be fine.

So I'm good. What a relief.

It could be a "Mimosa Morning". Perhaps a cranberry red morning?

It could be a "Mimosa Morning". Perhaps a cranberry red morning? I'd say take a shot after every Aztecs 3. Either you'll be dead sober or done by half.

Here is the Spokane forecast: Friday 54-38 with rain starting after tip-off, Saturday 41-28 with rain daytime and Sunday 43-27 cloudy. When I went to Denver, the plane had to be de-iced in 2006.

Watching a re-run of CBS Sports Home Court with Brian Dutcher, and kept telling myself how lucky we are to have Dutch as the HC. What a great father, friend, coach, and person.
When Fisher took the SDSU job and said to Dutch, "Promise me that you'll spend three years with me." and came to SDSU in 1999, was the AHC and HC in waiting until 2017, and was named our HC 7 years ago at age 58. 32 years as an assistant, that's a long time to wait.
After 7 years he has 175 wins, 57 loses winning 75.5% of his games.
Let's win on Friday versus UAB.
