Biden is defending our only actual ally in the Middle East, while simultaneously telling Netanyahu the US will not partake in an escalation against Iran. Our aggressive "ally" just attacked Iran again, meaning that Iran will likely send more missiles Israel's way. Guess who pays for the missile defenses that protect Israel from Iran? We do. I don't want to fund this piece of $#!+ government anymore. I hope some missiles do get through and hit targets in Israel when Iran retaliates. Israel needs to learn a lesson and pay for their war crimes. Not to mention, it costs about 10x as much to shoot down Iran's missiles as it does to build the missiles in the first place. And the US is the country funding Israel's defense. I don't want the US to get pulled into another proxy war. This is what you do with an ally. You help defend them without escalation, just as Biden already has said. You want him to turn his back on Israel? Just not going to happen. The two countries have been aligned since the 1960's. Biden's already said they aren't going to participate in a retaliatory strike. Nobody wants a war.

It truly looks like amateur hour with this idiotic group. Arm two groups who hate each other with the utmost intensity? These people are deliberately trying to start a major conflict….that is the only reasonable explanation. Retaliatory strike from Israel just happened a few hours ago. Let’s hope the “death to America” crowd is under scrutiny and surveillance.

Iran helped Hamas on October 7th and they are sending drones and other arms to Russia to attack Ukraine. We have been the "Big Satan" and "Death to America" for many years. The Middle East has been on the edge of blowing up for a long time. It has been in our best interest for the area to stay calm for economic/ stability reasons. You might want to re-think your "hope they hit Israel"... if this area blows, you have seen nothing yet regarding global impacts..and Iran will not look the same after it's done.

If Biden has the US invade Iran, that would be yet another reason not to vote for him. Iran has the right to defend itself from Israel's aggressive attack on Iran's embassy.

It's time for a change in the way in which our country interacts with the rest of the world. No more arming bad actors like Israel, or terrorist groups like the Taliban. The solution to effective foreign policy is applying economic and diplomatic pressure. We could end the Gaza conflict tomorrow if we exerted more pressure on Israel. Threaten to cut off their flow of weapons, and threaten to have the UN sanction them if they don't comply. It's very simple. End the Gaza conflict and the Iran-Israel conflict will simmer down. Biden foreign policy has been horrible, there is no sugar coating it.

He hasn't tried taking any of those actions that I mentioned. This conflict is as much our conflict as it it Israel's - we're funding it! Now Israel is provoking a regional conflict with Iran, hoping to drag us into a war with Iran. If Netanyahu does that, the Iran war will give him cover to continue to murder more Palestinians. We should not be arming Israel anymore. We should not be defending Israel anymore. They are a fascist country. They should be sanctioned. Netanyahu and his cronies need to rot in jail for the rest of the lives.

50 years ago, trump gets executed for his Russia statements and putin support. The orange cancer is a harbinger of the fall of the western empire. He doesn't get executed but he gets shunned. My how things have changed. Ronald Reagan: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Donald Trump: "Mr. Putin, take what you want."

Netanyahu would prefer to have Trump in office so he can do whatever the hell he wants without any blowback from the U.S. Think about that. www.newyorker.com/news/dispatch/donald-trumps-legacy-in-israel"Rather than use the prospect of these gestures as an incentive for Netanyahu to adopt a comprehensive peace plan in the region, Trump simply made them. Similarly, in recent months, when the U.S. brokered normalization accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and, most recently, Morocco, Trump allowed Israel to reap the rewards of diplomatic relations with these Arab countries in exchange for shelving Netanyahu’s extremist plan for annexing part of the occupied West Bank. For years, Israel had carried on back-channel diplomacy with these countries, but their relations had not been formalized because of the countries’ insistence on advancing Palestinian statehood. Now, officially, Israel has vowed to shelve its annexation plan. Unofficially, the Trump Administration agreed to once-unthinkable measures that made the normalization accords lucrative for these Arab countries. For the U.A.E., most notably, there was a proposed arms deal worth twenty-three billion dollars, which includes the sale of fifty stealth F-35 fighter jets. “Netanyahu got everything he wanted from Trump,” Amit Segal, the chief political analyst for Israel’s Channel 12, told me. Trump’s alignment with Netanyahu has been so total that, ahead of the U.S. election, sixty-three per cent of Israelis supported Trump, and only seventeen per cent supported Joe Biden, according to a November poll by the Israel Democracy Institute. If Israel were a U.S. state, it would be the “reddest state in the Union,” a column in the left-leaning newspaper Haaretz noted."

But we do know from previous states that there is a large section of Haley voters who will not vote for Trump.

ptsdthor, you should be pissed at Trump for ordering the Republicans to kill the bipartisan Border security bill. He put himself above the well being of the country. That is utterly unacceptable. Every Republican voter should pull their support for him based on that alone. Biden was set to sign that bill, giving Republicans 90% of what they wanted. That bill was far more Republican than Democratic, but Trump ordered it killed by the Republicans and they did his bidding. So if the border really is your top priority then you shouldn't be supporting the man who killed that bill. To continue to support him after doing that is intellectually dishonest and hypocritical. Could you imagine having the audacity to say "But Mr. and Mrs. Riley, if we just had a law that limited our migrant encounters to 5,000 a day..." Remember, the Democrats want this chaos. They sue to stop states from enforcing immigration laws for a reason. They want to allow the unfettered flow of future voters. With the likes of the Biden appointed and Senate protected Mayorkas, there is nothing in the Senate Bill that would stop Mayorkas and his minions from making the bonehead administrative decisions (mistakes) that lead to Laken's death in the first place. The Senate bill does little to remove the incentives, so the flow of illegals will continue regardless of the # of ICE Agents, # Immigration Judges, size of the Detention facilities, etc.

Republicans don't give a $#!+ about Laken Riley, her story, her life or her death. All they want to do is grandstand and parade it about as a political talking point.
