I don't care about this fight. Pacquaio by decision, easily...just like he did over Clottey and Margarito. Mosley has heart, and a chin, so he will go all 12 (Pac Man is THE man, but won't KO the bigger MOsley). I am alot LESS interested in "mega fights" these days....I am loving the other action in the 140 lb division. Khan, Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, Ortiz......a ton of young talent putting on exciting fights. www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/254830-mosley-im-fighting-pacquiao-in-april?eref=fromSI

I don't think this fight will happen.
All indications from Manny's camp before and after the last fight were he would only fight Mayweather next (he wants to focus on being a congressman)....but I guess if he feels the itch.

It looks like the date to whoever Pacman is gonna fight is May 7, 2011.
I think we all agree that Mayweather is the fight of choice but due to his legal problems (and the fact he has yet to reach out to Arum to negotiate) it looks like that fight is not gonna happen soon.
JMM priced himself out because wants a bigger payday to fight Pacman than when he fought PBF; that's not gonna happen.
Berto is a good fight but is a relative unknown. It would be difficult to have "big" PPV numbers thus giving Pacman his just due in $$$.
Mosley (reluctantly) is the choice that makes sense in terms of marketing and $$$ for Pacman.
Pacquiao has earned the right to get the most value for dollar per fight at this point in his career. If Mosley gives him the most "bang for his buck" then who are we to disagree?

No doubt, it's just that Mosley is old, and done. His last two fights he looked like $#!+. Mayweather worked him, and then he couldn't even get a "W" over Sergio Mora. I just would like to see Manny go out fighting the best.....but I can't fault him for making $$$.

I'd like to see Pacquiao/Marquez III though a match up with Mosley will be appealing to a broader audience. My hope for a fight against Floyd is dwindling with his legal trouble and Manny's commitment to the Philippine Congress.

Looks like you called it Josh.
I was very surprised to hear that this fight will happen as what I heard (granted 2nd hand) was that Manny didn't want to waste his time fighting anyone else but Mayweather.
I guess he realized he needs to cashout as many times as possible before he can't fight anymore.

Mayweather Jr. needs to stop assaulting women. That would be a good first step to keeping legal issues out of the way of a pacquiao fight. He's afraid of Pacquiao but maybe the fight will still happen someday because of money's seemingly non-stop tax and gambling issues.

Mayweather may not want to take on Pac Man, but I believe he will in 2011 sometime, if he can get a plea deal arranged.....
I choose to believe "Money" will not walk away from what is rumored to be a $30M or more pay day after PPV receipts.

Mayweather is a total moron, and he needs a comuppance. It seems from reading this that he has no desire to put an auto transponder on his car to get access to his gated community, and just wants to be able to say "Hey, I am Floyd Mayweather. If you dont know me, you better get to know me. Im famous!" sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/mma/boxing/01/06/mayweather.injunction.ap/index.htmlIt may be humbling and good for him to do some time in prison. Even if it ruins the window left in his boxing career.
