Someone please explain Dutcher’s obsession with Parrish. He’s been a liability all season and not only is he starting every game, he’s playing important minutes down the stretch AFTER playing terrible all game.

The whole team ice cold. It’s not just Parish. They picked the worst time of the year to go cold.

Parrish and Saunders are the only guys never afraid to shoot threes. Pal was shooting 41% from 3 after hitting 2-2 from 3 vs Utah State. Since then, in the last 9 gamed he's 0-6. He passed up open 3s at least three times tonight. Why?
Byrd was 0-3 from 3 although 2 of his misses were in-and-out. Parrish and Waters missed the entire rim tonight from 3. That's pathetic!

Parrish loves to jack 3's and Dutch inexplicably lets him

Parrish also needs to start mixing it up inside. He's really too timid at times. Many of these guys seem to be afraid of contact - well, not LeDee - but many of the rest of them. Mix it up or keep watching the rebounds go to the other team.

Early in the year the team shot pretty well Parrish, Waters, Saunders, Butler even LeDee have nice looking shots . Since mid season everything seems to be a little short. a little long but mostly rimming out, the strange thing is rarely do you see an air ball or a shot that is off line , typically they all look like they might go in. Most teams I see when they are off, they are OFF ..air balls, balls way off to the side but not the Aztecs. Gives me some hope that they can find their stroke and we can make a run.

I wouldn’t say parrish is never afraid to shoot 3s. He had 1 wide open one after he bricked one early in the game and he turned it down.

Yeah, I was hoping to get more scoring from Pal. When he was open for three's, I was screaming for him to shoot. He can hit them.

Parrish started the year wanting to be a three-point specialist, but over time his shot got worse, and now it appears he lacks confidence on offense.
Some stats:
This year in conference Parrish shot 27% from three - last year he shot 42%.
This year in conference, Parrish shot the most threes on the team by a huge margin - 21 more shots than Elijah Saunders, and 22 more than Waters.
This year in conference, Elijah Saunders has 1 more made three pointer than Parrish, but Saunders did it on 21 fewer shots.

Stealing from a previous post, and the Aztecs have only shot 30% from beyond the arc in 18 MW games. No surprises when you see the numbers (conf games only)
Over 30% *Saunders 24 of 65 37.0% *Waters 22 of 64 34.4% *Byrd 13 of 38 34.2% *LeDee 5 of 15 33.3%
Under 30% *Butler 14 of 50 28.0% *Trammell 14 of 52 26.9% *Parrish 23 of 86 26.7% *Pal 5 of 19 26.3% *Everyone else 0 of 6 0.0%
Team Totals *Aztecs 30.4% *Opponents 31.6%

I'm sure the opposing coaches look at stats. Maybe he's being defended tighter this year because of last year, and it's paying off for them. Now that Saunders is starting to hit his 3pt shots he may face the same thing in the post season. If the defenders post up tight against them then those guys should be able to pump fake then side step and beat them to the basket. LeDee will have to block out to open a lane for them. Hopefully he'll understand the ball can't always go to him. The more guys get involved, the better.

So, Keshad was 31 of 80 for 38.8% all year long.
