The 3 point shots kill me. We can’t shoot 3’s! You could have stopped at “we can’t shoot”

Where is Waters the last few games? It doesn't matter, they stunk and couldn't make a basket. Win or lose phuk Boise!! or, grab a timely rebound!

This one hurts on several levels. It probably drops us down a line or two in the NCAA brackets, and it is never good to blow a ten point lead at home. But as bleak as it looks right now, this team is capable of a course correction. Good luck with that!!

He is the only one, uninjured, who can make defenses pay with his shot.

He looks compromised.

50-50 balls and some absolutely miraculous three point shots. Thin margins when the teams are so evenly matched. Extremely physical game, yet Boise somehow didn't get their sixth team foul until there was inside of a minute to go in regulation. Pretty clear Jaedon is being officiated differently than he was a month or two ago, to our detriment. Hats off to the seniors.

Where is Waters the last few games? Waters has been a bummer this season. Seemed to have the skill and potential to be a solid number 2 behind LeDee, but it hasn't materialized. Thought he could have been the x factor for us, and was hoping he could average 15ish a game and command some attention. Don't know if his usage just hasn't allowed him to contribute consistently or what, but I feel like he's underperformed relative to his ability.

It's going to take a lot to win the MWC tournament. This team is highly inconsistent and the level of play in the conference has only gotten better.
Not having a center/power forward with experience to pair up with LeDee has hurt us this season. Just a decent one could have made all the difference.
Team played good enough to win, just like many other toss up losses. There is one obvious thing in many of these games, the opponents are bigger and man handle our guards. It's hard to change that.
Hoping for a miracle run.

I do root for success. I also don't bury my head in the sand and pretend things are rosy when they play like crap. Again. This team faded badly down the stretch, nobody stepped up, Dutcher has no answers and now we are in a world of hurt. Yes, but you were calling a loss from the first whistle. The players need fans, not critics. Let’s cheer during the game and be critical after I never call for a loss and my first comment was after the first media timeout, wondering what they practice on O because for the second straight game we had not scored a single point by that time. Not sure how waiting until after the game to be critical is any different than doing it in real time - it's not like it has any effect on the outcome of the game.

The 3 point shots kill me. We can’t shoot 3’s! You could have stopped at “We can’t shoot” MWC Losses w/3-point FG%, We can't shoot on the road, and in close games when we're behind. UNM 29%, SDSU 31% - L 88-70 away BSU 38% ,SDSU 25% - L 67-66 away CSU 33%, SDSU 43% - L 79-71 away Nev 23%, SDSU 15% - L 70-66 away (OT) USU 31%, SDSU 15% - L 68-63 away UNLV 44%, SDSU 33% - L 62-58 away BSU 40%, SDSU 24% - L 79-77 home (OT) In 18 conference games 30% from three. Indicative of our outside shooting.

Let face it when the starter in the 2nd half opened up the 10 point lead Coach stuck to his substitution pattern he has used in the second half of the season which has worked well. But the second unit didn't match of well with what Boise had out there at the time. Not the second units fault. We all know that ma

Either everyone shoots well from outside or no one does. It’s truly confounding. When we play inferior teams the guys are all confident and make outside shots. It’s the exact opposite against better teams. There’s no mystery in how to beat us - double and triple LeDee and dare our shooters to beat them. Lately, we haven’t been able to.

Not great when your five Guards are 0-9 from 3-pt Shooting 3s like this and continuing to do it is so tone deaf and situationally clueless. But this is what we’ve seen from this guys most of the season, except for the rare game where a few guys get hot. Essentially they stink shooting 3s and chuck them up with impunity. I love Dutch. LOVE him. But he needs to rethink this and lay down some different laws. It ain’t working … when you lose this many games in conference with the “talent” and experience most of our key players have, it’s bad. Feel like when Rocky kinda gave up on offense completely, was clueless once Penny left and he never had a generational, game breaking, take it to the house RB.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but I think they may be slightly overrated. They sure aren't getting after it right now. Not shooting, not defending, certainly not winning.
Boozie wanted the win, SDSU didn't. I'm not holding my breath for some kind of redemption in Las Vegas, I don't think this team has it in them. Some individuals certainly do and they play their AZZZZZZZZZZtecs off, but it's not an entire team effort. Could be a short MWCT and an even shorter NCCAAT if someone on the team doesn't take over and become a leader - probably already too late for that.

Would anyone at mid season have ever believed that Saunders would end up being our only good perimeter shooter? At this point, id rather have him shoot 10 a game vs Parrish … and the coaches set up Parrish the other night for the final shot … does anyone actually think he would’ve made that corner 3 had it not been blocked. Plus his shooting motion is so slow it gives defenders plenty of time to get there and contest.
