Pitch count probably makes it moot now. Some combination of Morejon, Adam, Scott, Suarez or Estrada... Yes, that was as long as he could go due to the pitch count. I mean he could have gone another inning, or at least started the sixth. But no need to extend him with the bullpen available. Fresh arms, play matchups. |
