He did throw three different pitches to get that K. And, that's a good thing. That last pitch to end the game was nasty. More of that, and hit your spots. He was getting away with throwing it by people earlier in the season, but that ended. Hit your spots, mix in a good second pitch, and he'll be fine. |

Tatis seems to be coming into his own since returning from injury, look for him to have some huge moments in the playoffs.

Can't obviously count out Manny, as well. Everything came together this season. We got Fernando back just in time, as well as Darvish. We're just about at full strength. This is why they didn't sell at the trade deadline like some wanted. They probably knew they'd have Fernando and Darvish back at some point, and at full strength. I thought it was foolish to even suggest that.
We can win the WS just as easily as other teams. This team just seems different. We've got that "it" factor. Shildt has done a TREMENDOUS job. Good times!!!

Good times!!! Entirely false. Fernando is still playing through a considerable amount of pain, the team has said multiple times the bone isn't even healed. That's why he's given off days since he came back. Gloating about something two months after the fact is really something. |

Rockies make it through the bottom of the 8th but LA has Ohtani, Betts and Freeman coming up in the bottom of the 9th.
